If you are wondering about the icon I chose for my site, it is a macro photo of a real (not AI!) rainbow rose, taken by the talented Laura Ockel.
Once upon a time, an admirer bought me a chameleon rose plant in a terracotta pot for my 19th birthday. Such a unique and thoughtful gift, its exquisite, dynamically colourful flowers have fascinated me ever since. Over two decades later, the roses still bloom and after being planted in the garden its branches continued to climb exponentially. Chameleon roses will always hold a nostalgic place in my heart, and as such they feature in my Starcast Duology books.
This particular rainbow rose photo captivated my attention and for me, symbolises the unfurling hues of love and the simple beauty we behold in an ephemeral moment.
